She did her undergraduate work at Michigan Technological University and completed medical school at the University of Michigan. Residency training followed at Blodgett Memorial Center/St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids from 1986-1990. She has been with Associates ever since. She is also a member of the Kent County Medical Society, The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, The Society for Reproductive Medicine and a Member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.. In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, her medical interests include menopause, PMS and infertility.

Born and raised in southeast Michigan, Dr. Andersson-Zetye is married to a pediatrician and has 2 teenage sons. In addition to her family, she fills her free time with gardening, needlework, and golf. She is interested in "anything sci-fi" and is a proud member of the Aerosmith fan club.
