Monique began her work in obstetrics in 1996. While working at a hospital in various departments as a nurses aid, she learned of her interest in obstetrics and caring for people. She followed her heart and in 1998 she graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with her LPN.

Monique joined our office in 1999. Her responsibilities include working with the doctors, assisting with procedures, OB triage, patient care and coordination.

In addition to being a nurse Monique is a Doula. She was trained through The Center for the Child Bearing Year in Ann Arbor, MI and is available as a Doula independently to families for private education including labor and childbirth education, support during labor and delivery as well as postpartrum and lactation consults.

Monique is happily married with two young boys and one on the way.
