Maybe it’s your first time, maybe your fifth! Whatever the case, it's an exciting time in your life, full of joy, full of questions. We are here to help you with all the details, large and small.

Our staff keeps current with new technology and birthing methods. We will provide you with the best care available. Primarily, we want your birth experience to be comfortable, healthy, and happy. For your convenience and the delivery of outstanding care, we provide in office ultrasounds administered by our highly experienced ultrasonographer to monitor the development of your baby. We are privileged to have two Doulas in our office, Angela and Monique. Doulas are independent labor coaches hired privately by the parents to assist and educate before, during and after the birth of their child.

Obstetrical services are provided by both board certified physicians and certified nurse midwives. Our office builds a relationship with you, provides reassurance and encourages an open dialogue. The advantage of our service is that we are with you throughout your pregnancy providing and fostering comfort during your labor. Our midwives have the benefit of physician back up if the need arises. Our smaller practice means you won't get lost in the shuffle.

If your pregnancy is uncomplicated, we provide individual guidance and education on diet, medications, exercise and other healthy habits. We also screen for any conditions that would make your pregnancy high risk. Our obstetricians handle many high risk conditions such as twins, high blood pressure, diabetes and premature labor. We deliver at Spectrum Health-Butterworth and St. Mary's Hospital in downtown Grand Rapids.
