Dr. Heggen is the senior partner at Associates and has been with us since 1980. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He went to the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and for medical school. Dr. Heggen served his residency at Harvard University. Following his training he served in the United States Air Force for 2 years. He is currently the medical director of the Spectrum Health OB/Gyn department and is an Associate Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He has been actively involved in teaching Michigan State Medical students since 1981.

Dr. Heggen's hobbies are woodworking and model trains. He is a proud grandfather. One of his daughters attends the University of Michigan and is credited with starting the polo club at the University.
