Dr. Heggen is the senior partner at Associates and has been with us since 1980. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He went to the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and for medical school. Dr. Heggen served his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan.  Following his training he served in the Air Force for 2 years.  He is past Chair and past Medical Director of the OB-Gyn department at Spectrum Health,  Dr. Heggen is currently serving as the Chair of the Advanced Practice Professional Credentialing Committee at Spectrum Health.  He is an Associate Professor at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine and has been actively teaching medical students for 28 years.

Dr. Heggen's hobbies are woodworking and model trains. He is a proud grandfather. One of his daughters attends the University of Michigan and is credited with starting the polo club at the University.
