Amy received her Baccalaureate of Science in nursing degree from the University of Michigan in 1997 and her certificate in Nurse Midwifery in July of 2005.

She has worked in numerous settings caring for pregnant, laboring, and postpartum women and their families in New Mexico, California, and Alaska before settling back here in Michigan. She has been a prenatal educator for Healthier Communities of Spectrum Health.
